2012-13 BUDGET INFORMATION The Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools, Anthony Day, have begun to develop the 2012-13 District Budget. Click here to get all of the latest information on the 2012-13 District Budget development process. GIRLS VARSITY TENNIS NAMED STATE SCHOLAR CHAMPIONS!! The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has announced that the Lady Panthers have been designated as the 2011 NYS Scholar Athlete Champions for girls tennis. The honor is given to the one team in each sport that has the highest team combined grade point average. The NYSPHSAA was on hand December 21 to congratulate the team and present them with a banner to hang in the gym. The 27-member Sweet Home team compiled a state-leading 97.775 GPA. Team members are Kristine Becker, Vineetha Bheemarasetty, Julieanne Burke, Erica Craft, Jennifer Eremionkhale, Taylor Falzone, Sarah Fiordaliso, Courtney Harm, Mary Hejna, Stephaine Izard, Beckey Jasen, Katherine Keefe, Rebecca Link, Ema Makas, Alicia May, Sumin Nam, Kaitlin Phillips, Kayla Plotner, Kathryn Rogemoser, Jessica Ruber, Farah Sahibzada, Ashley Streebel, Chloe Thai, Grozdana Vidovic, Emily Wesolowski, Cassie Williams and Alexa Zak. High School Inducts 68 into National Honor Society Sweet Home Senior High School is pleased to announce that seventy-four juniors and seniors have been inducted to the National Honor Society.  Inductions took place Tuesday, January 10 in the high school auditorium. 96  Sweet Home Juniors Inducted into Foreign Language Honor Societies Sweet Home High School is pleased to announce that 96 juniors have been inducted into the school’s foreign language honor society. Elementary Reconfiguration Task Force Presents Recommendations to School Board The Elementary Reconfiguration Task Force presented its recommendations to the School Board, should the Board deem it necessary to reconfigure the elementary buildings when finalizing the 2012-13 District Budget. Alumni Association Inducts Five on Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame The Sweet Home High School Alumni Association inducted five members into the school’s Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame on Friday, November 4 at 6:30pm. District Sets 2011-12 Tax Rates At its voting meeting August 23, the Sweet Home Board of Education set the school tax rate for 2011-12.
