It is the hope that this information will help our community understand fully the process of finalizing the 2010-11 school district budget. Because of drastic cuts in state aid to Sweet Home, this budget season will prove to be one of the most challenging in Sweet Home history. At their March 27 budget study session the Board of Education reached a consensus on the 2010-11 budget that would see a 9.9% increase on the tax levy.
