Faculty and Staff –
While the Teacher Center was granted resources from NYS, it was only at 50%. As a result, our center does not have any secretarial staff and has obviously limited its number of professional development offerings.
That said, the Teacher Center is working in concert with other regional Teacher Centers in our Far West Network of NYS and with our own district PDP team.
Sadly, the Governor has yet again eliminated Teacher Center funding for 2012-13. Once again, tremendous work will be required by our partners at NYSUT and our own collegues to contact NYS senators and legislatures to demand restoration to our funding.
